The Ministry of People’s Power for the Penitentiary Service announced this Monday, through a communiqué, that as a result of coordinated work with the bodies that make up the System of Justice, in the latest hours have been granted 116 new releases, in addition to the 187 granted during the month of December 2025.
According to the official communiqué, these measures have benefited individuals deprived of their liberty for acts associated with disrupting the constitutional order and attempting against the stability of the Nation.
These actions give a following to the integral revision of cases, voluntarily initiated by Constitutional President Nicolás Maduro Moros. Said process has kept its continuity under the direction of Acting President Delcy Rodríguez, within the framework of a policy aimed at justice, dialogue, and the preservation of peace.
The Venezuelan State reaffirmed its commitment to exercising sovereignty through decisions that contribute to the consolidation of social peace. Likewise, it was reported that the process of causes revision will be maintained in a permanent and continuous manner, always in strict adherence to the current legal framework.
