Bolivarian Government recovers more than 1,700 schools throughout the country

From the César Nieves sector in Catia La Mar, La Guaira state, the acting President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Monday the start of the second school term 2025-2026 throughout the national territory, with the formal handover and inauguration of the new headquarters of the “Pedro Camejo” National School.

She also reported that 11 institutions were being handed over and inaugurated throughout the country. In addition, 1,725 ​​educational units have been completely renovated.

In this regard, she affirmed that from one of the areas most impacted by the cowardly attack by the United States against the Venezuelan people, “we reaffirm the sovereignty and independence of Venezuela.”

Rodríguez mentioned that the proceeds from our energy resources must be geared to guarantee projects like these, in order to ensure the future of our children. She reported that the María de Nazareth National Educational Unit in Camatagua, Aragua state, has been restored and equipped with everything necessary for an education of quality: “That is what we want for all our boys and girls.”

Moreover, she highlighted that the rehabilitation works carried out at the Generalísimo Sebastián Francisco de Miranda National Educational Unit will benefit 1,200 children from the Cartanal parish in Miranda state, thanks to the “Juntos Todo es Posible” (Together Everything is Possible) corporation: “This is the way: Healing the wounds of the criminal economic war against Venezuela.”

The Acting President emphasized that the School Feeding Program (PAE) has grown by 36%; nearly 2 million children receive daily meals in schools, and these foods are also produced nationally, in line with the Economic Growth Plan.

“In there is reflected where the resources from oil investment and foreign currency are going, despite being a country under a blockade. The world must know that the falsehood that is attempted to impose to justify an intervention in Venezuela is unacceptable,” she pointed out.

On the other hand, she asserted that she has “seen caricatures on Wikipedia regarding who is in charge in Venezuela. Well, there is a government that is in charge in Venezuela; there is an acting President and also a President being held hostage in the United States.”

She emphasized that the Venezuelan Government is governing alongside the organized people, “and we are making progress in international relations based on respect and international law in order to uphold and protect the rights of our beloved Venezuela.”

During her tour of the facilities at the “Pedro Camejo” National School, Rodríguez could observe the state of the improvements made to the educational center, which opens its doors today to all the children in the area. The new building has been designed to provide suitable spaces for an enrollment of 106 students in preschool and elementary education.

The works included masonry, integral painting and the total renovation of the electrical systems in the classrooms, kitchen, and sanitary areas.

With this inauguration, the Bolivarian Government guarantees an optimal environment for the pedagogical development of the children.
