The President of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, shared on his Telegram channel an updated report on the national situation following the earthquakes that struck the north-central region of the country.
Specifically, he detailed that 6,642 people were rescued; 86,794 families were assisted; 28,836 patients received medical treatment; and 16,891 people remain safeguarded in transitory camps as a temporary measure.
The same image also accounts for the distribution of 12,126,298 liters of water as well as 9,603 tons of food. Moreover, is established the deployment of 30,076 personnel as well as 29,344 volunteers, along with 3,931 international rescue workers.
Simultaneously, were reported the figures of 3,889 deaths, 16,740 injuries, 1,142 aftershocks, 856 damaged buildings, and 190 collapsed structures.
