Diosdado Cabello Rondón, Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security, and Peace, stated this Wednesday that the training bases for Colombian terrorist groups were moved to Ecuador “because the current ruler of that nation, Mr. Daniel Noboa, is actively linked to global drug trafficking mafias.”
In a press conference, Cabello Rondón emphasized that according to a report, “70% of the drugs produced in Colombia are distributed by Ecuador” and that it is known that among the Ecuadorian president’s companies “there are shipping and exporting companies; from where the drugs leave, mixed with fruit, with clothing, and in various liquid forms, powders, leaves, however Mr. Noboa wants to export them.”
He recalled that Venezuela demonstrated, as in Operation Gedeón, “that terrorist groups in Colombia were planned and trained by drug traffickers directly linked to the person who governed the neighboring country at the time, Iván Duque.”
He also emphasized that “it is a fact of public knowledge and media coverage that Noboa, after the fraud in the presidential elections promoted and perpetrated by Súmate, brought Erik Prince (a mercenary who makes a living off blackmail, drug trafficking, and extortion) to Ecuador as a security advisor” and that he, along with Iván Simonovis, collected money for destabilizing acts in Venezuela.
