President Maduro approved economic resources to reinforce the FANB

During the 1st Fair of Innovation, Science and Technology of the FANB-2019, the commander-in-chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduro, made several announcements to enhance the military power and its capacity to defend the country, detailed as follows:
– He directed the amount of 50 million euros for the start-up of the textile plant located in the Tiuna Industrial Complex, for the automated production of 780,000 annual units of military uniforms.
– Approved 6,833,385 euros for the activation of the production line of the Caribe Submachine-gun, in order to continue advancing in the direction of making its own weapons system.
– He reported on the signing of an agreement for the advance, in responses and solutions in the area of agri-food production, between the Ministry of People’s Power for Defense and the National Institute for Rural Development (Inder).
– Authorized the creation of a Special Economic Zone for Integral Military Development, in Aragua state.
Technological advance:
On the other hand, the National President also made several announcements to strengthen the telecommunications sector:
– He signed a decree creating the National Telecommunications and Postal Services Corporation of Venezuela, and appointed Minister Jorge Márquez as its President.
– He ordered an investment with China and the technology of Huawei and ZTE, and of all Russian companies to increase telecommunications capabilities and thus make a reality in Venezuela the 4G system nationwide.
