Parliamentarian Nicolás Maduro Guerra confirmed that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the First Lady, Cilia Flores, are in good health state. This information was shared during a meeting with the Minister for Communes, Ángel Prado.
Minister Prado detailed on his social media that, during the conversation, it was highlighted that the Head of State is very attentive to the country’s affairs. It was informed that President Maduro maintains “a great confidence in the people who will fight and will defend the peace and integrity of our territory.”
Likewise, it was reported that the president is aware of the upcoming National Popular Consultation of the Communes. This consultation was announced by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez as a mechanism to consolidate the new Communal State.
The message is directed directly to the communal councils and communes throughout the country, reinforcing the strategy of popular participation in the construction of the communal model. The consultation represents a step further in the process of institutional transformation promoted by the national government.
