The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, called on the Venezuelan people for the national union, stating that the goal is «to bring together the vast majority of the country based on the principles of peace, tranquility, and mutual respect from diversity.»
«This is the space of the Venezuelan society that wants peace, that wants tranquility, and that believes in respect in diversity. This is the Venezuela to which we must bring these vast majorities together,» highlighted Rodríguez.
During her address, she also detailed that the defense of the nation transcends current political interests, because the true engine behind this call is the historical duty to preserve Venezuela’s territorial integrity and to guarantee the stability of its people.
«The duty is not an electoral nor a machinery necessity. It is the duty to preserve the integrity of Venezuela, its historical integrity, and above all, peace and tranquility for our people,” she highlighted.
At the same time, the Head of State in Charge highlighted the value of the Amphictyonic Congress of Panama, presenting it as a model of integration that remains fully relevant today. She also noted that Simón Bolívar’s vision, thought from a military dimension of government and economy, maintains a profound relevance for the challenges the country currently faces.
