The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, from the Paseo Los Próceres (The Heroes Stroll, in Caracas), oversaw the deployment of the «Equipos Renace» (Rebirth Teams) across every Commune and Communal Circuit, in order to address the complaints submitted by citizens via the VenApp platform.
The launch will begin in the regions most severely affected by public service issues: Anzoátegui, Zulia, Aragua, Carabobo, Monagas, and Caracas, where the first 244 teams will be established, with the direct participation of 2,928 individuals.
In the initial phase will be prioritized 829 Communes and Communal Circuits across the country’s 25 states. Each team will have a basic structure of 12 members and will contribute to address the needs of the communities.
The President was accompanied by Juan José Ramírez, Sectoral Vice President for Public Works and Services; Anabel Pereira, Sectoral Vice President for Administration and Digital Government; Carlos Mast Justiz, Minister of People’s Power for Water Services; Rolando Alcalá, Minister of People’s Power for Electric Energy; and Francisco Garcés, Minister of People’s Power for Transportation, among other authorities.
Rodríguez ordered the «Equipos Renace» to be equipped with materials, tools, and basic gear to facilitate immediate, on-the-ground responses. This equipment will enable the teams to address and resolve minor issues, while strengthening community participation in the maintenance and operation of public services.
