President Delcy Rodríguez held this Monday an inspection of the temporary terminal that is being constructed at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state.
This airport suffered considerable damage on June 24th as a result of two powerful earthquakes. In response, the National Government is accelerating, through the «Venezuela Renace» (Venezuela Reborn) Plan, the necessary work to restore operations, mobility, and connectivity with other destinations as quickly as possible.
This temporary infrastructure will include operational areas for passenger check-in, immigration control, customs services, and baggage claim zones.
Thus is advancing the construction of the modern temporary airport terminal, designed to provide fast, safe, and efficient service, which is expected to be open soon at the service of the public.
