The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced a new «Popular Consultation for Youth» scheduled for February 2027. The primary objective is to further empower new generations and drive the development of community projects at the grassroots level.
During a work session held in the La Pastora parish of Caracas, the national leader urged Venezuelan youth to formally structure their local proposals, acknowledging the civic commitment demonstrated during the previous consultation, she stated: «Congratulations on this historic participation, and let’s keep moving forward. Now, let’s carry out these projects with care and prepare for the next consultation.»
In this same vein, the Head of State praised the organizational dynamism of the youth movement. She emphasized the importance of channeling community concerns through direct democratic engagement, noting that «this is the path to consolidating democratic participation,» which allows local goals to be aligned with public social investment.
Likewise, the President highlighted the infrastructure and rehabilitation work carried out by the national government in the area, as well as the promotion of local public works. She asserted that these open consultations strengthen social peace and transform diverse viewpoints into concrete projects that improve the quality of life within each communal circuit.
