As part of the «Venezuela Renace» (Venezuela Reborn) Plan, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led the handover of 181 decent homes destined to families affected by the recent double earthquake registered in the country.
The initiative involved simultaneous allocations in the Capital District and in Miranda and Carabobo states. In Caracas, the event took place in the Libertador Municipality—specifically in the El Valle parish, within the Simón Bolívar sector of the «Ciudad Tiuna» housing complex—where 16 apartments were handed over in Tower D-12.
In a complementary manner, the President announced the handover of homes in Miranda state (Cristóbal Rojas Municipality, Charallave), where 77 units were allocated at the «Mirador de Caiza» housing complex.
This housing development covers an area of over 493,537 m² and projects the construction of a total of 2,390 housing units distributed across 95 buildings.
Simultaneously, in Carabobo Stat, at the Los Guayos Municipality, 88 housing solutions were handed over at the «Renacer» complex, thus guaranteeing shelter and stability for the families assisted in the region.
Advances of the «Venezuela Renace» Plan:
It is important to highlight that the impact of the «Venezuela Renace» Plan on the reconstruction and support phase for affected areas, has been evidenced by the following advances:
– Homes allocated and rehabilitated: A total of 709 brand-new homes have been awarded to families who suffered the total loss of their housing, while 1,815 families have already returned to their homes following the completion of works of integral rehabilitation.
– Technical inspections: Specialized teams have conducted over 63,000 assessments and inspections across seven states to verify and certify the structural safety of each property.
– Scheme of State financing: The Bolivarian Government covers up to 80% of the total property value through social loans with 25-year terms.
– Diversified attention: The financing policy covers special programs for building rehabilitation, direct support for condominium associations, and temporary rent subsidies, all aimed at providing solutions tailored to the specific circumstances of each family.
Therefore, with these actions, the National Government reaffirms its institutional commitment to responding promptly to natural emergencies and consolidating the right to housing throughout the national territory.
