Speaking from the El Gran San Blas Commune, located in the Petare parish of Sucre Municipality, (Miranda State), the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced a 4.19% increase in the agricultural sector compared to the previous cycle. Likewise, she highlighted the positive momentum seen in fisheries, animal protein and the vegetables area, while commending the community initiative to set up popular markets offering affordable products to families.
In this regard, President Delcy Rodríguez noted that this economic growth must translate into direct benefits for the people, emphasizing that all productive efforts must be geared toward the well-being of workers: «There is an undeniable economic growth,» she stated during her tour of the sector in Miranda.
Moreover, she recalled her address to the United Nations (UN) General Assembly, where she brought the national voice and reaffirmed to the international community that Venezuela is a territory of peace, committed to development and the future of its children: «The Venezuelan people know that we are heading toward a great triumph for our country,» she added.
Concluding her announcements, President Delcy Rodríguez urged citizens to participate massively in the second National Popular Consultation, scheduled for October 18, 2026. «Let us all men and women to participate in the consultation this October 18 to decide in our community life,» she expressed in a clear call to consolidate participatory democracy.
