President Nicolás Maduro emphasized on Sunday that the Bolivarian Revolution, promoted 17 years ago by Commander Hugo Chavez, is the only political project capable of maintaining democratic stability in Venezuela and is a key factor for the balance of development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
“The only guarantee that has the stability of Venezuela is called the Bolivarian Revolution, the Government of Nicolás Maduro. It is the only one that can guarantee the stability of this country and we have demonstrated it”, said the Head of State in his program “Contacto con Maduro” (Contact with Maduro), held from Miranda state.
Maduro indicated that sectors adverse to the Bolivarian Revolution do not have the credibility, capacity and democratic project needed  to guarantee the stability of the country. The President made that reflection after recalling the latest achievement of the Bolivarian diplomacy: The historic cut in oil production recently achieved in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries.
“Venezuela is a key factor in the peace of Latin America and the Caribbean, that is why (they make) these crazy attempts to destabilize Venezuela,” stressed the National President in reference to actions undertaken from the United States with support from right-wing Governments in South America to destabilize the Bolivarian country.
The last attack against Venezuela occurred within the Common Market of the South (Mercosur). Chancellors of the triple Alliance, made up by the Governments of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil, maneuver an illicit departure of Venezuela from the regional bloc, rejected by the popular movements in South America, defenders of the integration of the peoples.
“That Triple Alliance is technically defeated, we have received the solidarity of the entire South America and beyond, and I am sure that we will defeat it politically and institutionally, because no one brings Venezuela out of Mercosur, we are part of Mercosur and we will continue being Mercosur”, he said.
Since Venezuela took over the Pro-Tempore presidency of Mercosur on July 29, the right-wing Governments of the Triple Alliance have launched a campaign to try to annul its exercise in the body, which contravenes the rules of the bloc.
In response to these actions, different social movements in the region have demonstrated against this new outrage against Venezuela, and have expressed their solidarity to safeguard the institutionality and unity on the continent.
