Venezuela rejected Duque’s claims to use its territory for drug trafficking

The vice president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, publicly demanded the president of Colombia, Iván Duque, to respect the sacred will of the Venezuelan people, during the 27th Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government, which was held this Wednesday April 21, 2021.

The senior official of the Bolivarian Government rejected the claims of the Colombian government, the cartels and the United States agencies, to use our sacred soil for drug trafficking.

She described Iván Duque as a failure, precisely because he failed to guarantee peace to the people of Colombia, and failed to eradicate drug crops: “it is incredible that amidst the pandemic, Colombia, the world’s leading cocaine-producing country, has increased its production, also becoming a public health situation for the international community, even more serious than the pandemic, disrupting financial systems”, said Vice President Delcy Rodríguez.

The spokeswoman for the liberating people of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reminded Duque during the Ibero-American meeting that the Homeland of Bolívar and Chávez welcomed 6 million Colombians during 70 years of Colombian war, and has never appeared in an international forum as a beggar due to the migrants that we welcomed with love and who we also serve with great dedication.

We Venezuelans elect our authorities and decide our fate within the framework of the principle of self-determination”, concluded the vice president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez.
