Venezuela celebrates, with the Palestinian people release of young Ahed Tamimi

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela celebrates with the Palestinian people the release of young Ahed Tamimi, after being unjustly imprisoned for fighting valiantly against the Israeli occupation forces.

The information was released by the Venezuelan Chancellor Jorge Arreaza through his Twitter account, where he shared the official communiqué.

Following, the full communiqué:

“The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Bolivarian People and Government, celebrates with the Palestinian people the release of young Ahed Tamimi, after being unjustly imprisoned for fighting valiantly against the Israeli occupation forces.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, consistent with its support for the Palestinian cause, takes the opportunity to reaffirm the support and willingness to continue accompanying the Government of the State of Palestine and its people in their tireless and heroic struggle for the attainment of their freedom and full sovereignty according to all the resolutions of the Security Council and the General Assembly of the United Nations, which demand the cessation of the occupation by the Israeli forces of the Palestinian territory and the recognition of the State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its Capital.

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reiterates its brotherhood and its unrestricted and unconditional commitment to the Palestinian people, as well as its firm determination to promote actions in favor of the Diplomacy of Peace and the legitimate and historic demands for the rights of Palestine”.
