Productive Economic Council condemns financial destabilizing actions


The National Council of Productive Economics expressed its resounding rejection to the actions of financial attacks and attacks to the currency that have been perpetrated by factors of the right wing with the intention of destabilizing the country and to end the Bolivarian Revolution, as part of the economic war.
He called attention to the cyberattack carried out in the country this Friday that affected the electronic transactions of goods and services of the People, “As a premeditated and highly sophisticated attempt aimed at generating a climate of generalized chaos in the Venezuelan society,” The council said in a document prepared this Saturday during an extraordinary meeting at the White Palace, Miraflores, in Caracas, which was joined by President Nicolás Maduro.
“We categorically condemn these destabilizing and criminal actions and we also support the President of the Republic in adopting the measures that he considers pertinent to overcome these situations in the context of the fight against economic war,” reads the document released by the Vice President Of the Republic, Artistóbulo Istúriz.
The council made several proposals in order to promote actions against the economic war, such as “to encourage banking, to promote the use of electronic money and to establish a working table between the actors of the Sectorial  Social Vice Presidency of the Economy and the Banking Association of Venezuela in order to strengthen the operation of the entire electronic platform of the National banking system”, as the text explains.
He also stressed that the attacks against the people are expressed on different fronts: “Focused on the current situation in the financial, monetary and exchange sectors, with drastic repercussions on the country’s productive apparatus to destabilize the National Government led by President Nicolás Maduro”, says the writing.
They detail that, among the illegal actions of the economic war is the premeditated, continuous and illegal extraction of  high denomination bills of the national currency towards Colombia, “with the goal of activating speculative processes against our currency and drastically altering the monetary circulation in our country ” they refer.
The council also denounced attempts to legitimize capital from drug trafficking businesses in the neighboring country and reiterated the denunciation against web portals in attempts at economic destabilization.
Finally, the council warned that these actions deteriorate the development of public and private enterprises, as well as the living conditions of the people.
