Diaz: The National Assembly is misogynistic, offensive and discriminatory

With various street actions, legal and communication activities will commemorate the International Day of Non-Violence Against Women. This was announced by the deputy to the National Assembly, Tania Díaz, in the “Política al Desnudo” (Naked Politics) program, broadcast by RNV Informative channel,
“Go figure, the National Assembly has convened for a regular session tomorrow and has as its third item on the agenda an agreement on the celebration of the world day against the eradication of violence against women; most blatant than that would be  impossible,” she said.
“They want to discuss a hypocritical agreement to call attention against violence, after all they’ve done they pretend to wash their faces.” The deputy recalled the achievements and the leading role that women have had since the arrival of the Revolution with President Hugo Chavez, passing from the laws that protect them, as well as ministries and institutes.
The leader concluded by accusing the current National Assembly of being misogynist, offensive and discriminatory.
