The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said this Tuesday that the Grand Plenary of the Homeland Congress will be held on December 6, the date on which is commemorated the anniversary of the first victory of Commander Hugo Chavez.
During his program “La Hora de la Salsa” (The Salsa Hour), which he conducts on Radio Miraflores and Radio Nacional de Venezuela (RNV), the President explained that was approved a year-end program: “A spectacular one, 29 social movements were gathered, the vanguard of the Homeland Congress”.
He said that it will be the plenary of all sectors: religious, health, education, women, entrepreneurs, workers, sexual-diversity, older adults, eco-socialism, people with disabilities and other sectoral, regional and national delegates.
The Head of State said that in the aforementioned activity, will be approved the 2017-2018 plan.
The Homeland Congress is a method to activate the patriotic constituent assemblies of the base in each space. The intention is to work based on two of the Rs: Rebellion and Renaissance.
