The Chancellory of the Republic reported on Monday through its official account on the Twitter social network, @vencancilleria, that the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Delcy Rodríguez, and the Attorney General, Luisa Ortega Diaz, held a meeting with representatives of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China.
The purpose was to exchange experiences in the legal, technical and criminal areas.
In this regard, the Chinese Vice-attorney, Jiang Jianchu, said that Venezuela is well advanced in the area of forensic expertise for criminal investigation.
Meanwhile, the Venezuelan Attorney General said that soon will be signing an addendum to the memorandum of understanding for the purpose of promoting academic specializations.
«This meeting is part of the cooperative relationship we have with China in various areas. We are honored by the visit of this high authority of China that consolidates ties of friendship and cooperation between our countries,» said Chancellor Rodriguez.
