The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro said this Tuesday that the difficulties that is currently facing the country are due to the “Obama backlash” who “Before leaving (the US’s Presidency) wants to hurt Venezuela. ”
From Miraflores Palace in Caracas, where he welcomed a great mobilization that took place in support of the Bolivarian Revolution regarding the coup d’ etat plans by the opposition, said that the world knows all the efforts that has made the US Government in order to destabilize the country.
He said that the opposition now refuses to talk, after they met with the envoy of Pope Francis to the country, because “From North America, the departing Government of Obama has ordered to set Venezuela on fire and for not having a dialogue.”
In this regard, the Head of State emphasized that the path of Venezuela is that of dialogue and coexistence.
“Obama: nor your backlash, nor a thousand backlashes could defeat the Venezuela who wants peace, we are today more anti-imperialist than ever,” he said.
