Courts handled more than 8,300 denounces of electoral fraud from the opposition


Jorge Rodriguez, Mayor of Caracas and member of the National Directorate of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), said on Thursday that fortunately in Venezuela there is a system of justice that has attended the denounces of the people regarding the fraud by the opposition in the process of collecting signatures to trigger a recall referendum.
“In Venezuela there is a judiciary power, there are courts that handled more than 8,300 denounces made by the Venezuelans,” said Rodriguez in his “La Política en el Diván” (Politics at the Divan) program, broadcast on Thursday by Venezolana de Television.
He said that among the crimes committed, the opposition put 10,995 dead people to sign to authorize a party to convene for a recall referendum, in addition to validating 9,300 fake IDs and put 3,000 underage citizens to sign.
