The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, welcomed on Tuesday afternoon at the Miraflores Palace, Caracas, to the American actors Jamie Foxx and Lukas Hass.
During the meeting the Head of State toured the Presidential palace with Foxx and Hass.
It was learned that these Americans are in the country as part of a special recognition they will make to the Great Mission Housing Venezuela, a social program that since 2011 has delivered more than one million worthy households to the Venezuelan families.
“We have given a special welcome to two actors very appreciated by our people (…) thanks for supporting with your vision the building of homes for the peoples around the world, who participate in these projects to seek the welfare of people,” Maduro said in a broadcast by Venezolana de Television.
