President Maduro: NAM Summit is the most important ever made in Venezuela

The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, said on Tuesday that the 17th Summit of the Non-Aligned Countries Movement (NAM), which was held on Margarita island, Nueva Esparta state, from September 13 to 18, was the most important event of this kind ever made in Venezuela.
This was stated during the broadcast of his weekly program “Contacto con Maduro” (Contact with Maduro) number 67, broadcast by Venezolana de Television and which was carried out on Tuesday from the Principal Theater in Caracas, the Head of State qualified the NAM summit as “extraordinary” and he said it was “far beyond the expectations that we the organizers had, and far beyond the expectations that had all the delegations from around the world who visited us.”
“We do not cease to be impressed by the human quality, the capacity of the message, the height of the deliberations, by the conclusions”, he said.
He also commented: “Never before in Venezuela had been made a summit where had attended 137 delegations, more than 122 countries, all the top-level global agencies, the UN’s secretary general, the entire United Nations system”.
This demonstrates, said Maduro, that Venezuela “has the love and support (of the peoples of the world) as never before in life, and we have made the biggest and most extraordinary summit in spiritual, political, moral quality and in the quantity of countries, that we have ever seen”.
Similarly, the President said that during the program will mark the three year anniversary of the Child and Youth Theatre Movement “César Rengifo”, will make a balance of the Great Mission Safe and Sovereign Supply (GMASS) and announce a set of decisions regarding this plan that seeks to counter the economic war that promotes the right wing, as well as the start of classes.
