The Chancellor of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported on Saturday afternoon that the Head of State, Nicolas Maduro, met with the former President of the Spanish Government, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero.
Through her account on the social network Twitter, the official published photographs of the meeting, while she said that this week was “fruitful and constructive for dialogue and peace in Venezuela”.
For his part, Rodriguez Zapatero, said in recent days that his arrival in Caracas responds to the weekly visits, as a mediator of the Union of South American Nations (Unasur), in order to advance the process of dialogue between the Government and the opposition, which he qualified as “long”. However, he stressed that there is a willingness to advance in it.
