The vice president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, rejected on Tuesday the “criminal” interventionism by the vice president of the United States, Mike Pence, against the sovereignty of Venezuela:
“The Venezuelan people recognizes that the US government is the cause of the inhuman and provocative blockade of socioeconomic hardship for the population”, said the vice president in her message posted on the Twitter social network.
Rodríguez emphasized that Pence “accentuates his misguided actions and profound ignorance about Venezuela by blatantly supporting coup plotters and vulgar criminals to steal the resources of our country”.
“Neither his puppets nor his anachronistic empire will lay hands on our sacred country,” she said.
