The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, announced this Thursday, August 18, five strategic points to reinvigorate the productive capacity and thus contribute to the development of new sustainable economic model on nationalized enterprises.
These action points are: To meet the needs of the people, to develop the productive chains and productive forces of the country, the substitution of imports, generating new sources of foreign exchange in foreign currency, and generating dividends.
This was announced by the Head of State during the activation of the engine number 15 of the basic, strategic and Socialist Industries, made from Monagas state.
In this regard, he said that these goals should be developed by all enterprises, in order to turn Venezuela into an economic power and self-sustaining.
He also stressed that socialist companies “are to produce goods and services and to meet the needs of the people that allow to overcome the capitalist forms of economic warfare.
