The vice president for the Economic Area, Tareck El Aissami, announced that all the national private banks are authorized for the new stage of the DICOM (currency) auction system.
In a press conference, from Miraflores palace, El Aissami, explained: “From now on the auctions will be stipulated in the scheme of foreign currency; Euro, Yuan or any other convertible currency”, he detailed.
“We have decided to incorporate the entire banking system, both public and private, so that they can participate in the DICOM auction system”, he explained.
In the same order of ideas, he reported that is entering into force the resolution that increases the legal reserve of banks from 31% to 40%: “So that this money does not end in the speculative market”, he concluded.
