Venezuela sympathizes with Colombia after military helicopter crash


The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela manifested this Tuesday its solidarity with the brotherly people of Colombia, following the crash of a military helicopter which occurred on Monday in the neogranadine nation, which left 17 dead soldiers.
This was reported by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Delcy Rodriguez, through her Twitter account: “The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its condolences to the Republic of Colombia for the deaths of soldiers of military forces,” she wrote.
“We extend our solidarity with the brotherly people of Colombia, its armed forces and to the families and victims of this unfortunate accident,” she said in another message on the social network.
Earlier, the Defense Minister of Colombia, Luis Carlos Villegas, reported to have recovered eight bodies of the soldiers killed by this accident.
