“The other great task of this 2017 is the task of peace, life, coexistence, is the task of winning the battle for the right to peace and life in the neighborhood, in the community, in urbanism, in the university, in the streets, on the corner, on the sports court ”
This was announced on Wednesday by the Venezuelan Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, during the presentation of the Carabobo Offensive Agenda 2017-2018, in the Mountain Headquarters, in Caracas.
“This is the year to conquer social peace, to defeat the paramilitarized criminal groups and to defeat the terrorist groups of the ultra-right wing, two great tasks to consolidate political and social peace, the struggle for citizen security,” he added in a Radio and television joint broadcast.
During the ceremony, President Maduro said that they have been preparing new initiatives and actions to consolidate the peace quadrants. “We have to go to a process of liberation of the whole national territory, (to get rid) of criminal violence, kidnapping, drug trafficking and paramilitary threats.”
