Bolivarian National Armed Forces reaffirm commitment to defending the dignity of the Homeland

On the 105th anniversary of the Bolivarian Military Aviation, the Sectoral Vice President for Security, General Vladimir Padrino López, reaffirmed the Bolivarian National Armed Forces’ commitment to defending the dignity of the Homeland. During the commemorative events, he emphasized that this force is prepared to take to the skies to protect the Venezuelan people.

Padrino López linked this current commitment to the historic events of November 27, 1992. He highlighted that those military personnel heeded the popular clamor of the Caracazo of 1989, fighting for true democracy and social justice, which marked the genesis of the Bolivarian Revolution.

The Minister expressed his complete confidence in the political leadership of President Nicolás Maduro: “We know the moral strength of President Maduro, who leads this nation with his own two hands amidst constant threats,” he affirmed, highlighting the government’s preparedness and resilience in the face of adversity.

With firmness, Padrino López reaffirmed the position for 2025: “We are prepared to respond to any aggression against the people of Venezuela, against its sovereignty, against its territorial integrity.” He emphasized that the Bolivarian Military Aviation “must strike hard wherever it needs to strike, strike and overcome.”

The high-ranking official added that Venezuela faces a military siege that will not intimidate or diminish its capabilities. “We have developed capabilities we never imagined,” he asserted, underscoring the obligation to fulfill the task of defense under any circumstances and without excuses.
