Bolivarian military aviation emphasizes its genuine spirit in defense of national sovereignty

The Sectoral Vice President for Defense and Sovereignty, Vladimir Padrino López, on the occasion of Military Aviation Day, exalted the fundamental role of the Air Component in the defense of national sovereignty.

Through an official communiqué from the Ministry of People’s Power for Defense, he also underscored the historic feat of November 27, 1992, and the 105th anniversary of the institution.

According to the official document, the Sectoral Vice President for Defense and Sovereignty emphasized that «the greatest strength lies in the heroism of the professionals of its hangars.»

He stressed that the Bolivarian Military Aviation (AMB) is at the vanguard of the integral defense in the face of what he described as «the current and most dangerous siege by North American imperialism.»

The ministerial statement highlights the ingenuity of the aeronautical technicians who maintain the operational readiness of the aircraft despite unilateral coercive measures.

It emphasizes the ongoing upgrading of facilities and modernization of weapons systems, which allows the Air Force to demonstrate an «increasingly powerful, modern, well-equipped, and versatile» force.

In the official text, the Sectoral Vice President extended congratulations to the members of the Venezuelan Air Force (AMB) on its 105th anniversary and the 33rd anniversary of the uprising of November 27, 1992.

He acknowledged their loyalty to the Bolivarian Project and the «perfect popular-military-police fusion» in the defense of sovereign airspace.

The statement includes special recognition of the Commander General of the AMB, Major General Lenín Lorenzo Ramírez Villasmil, for upholding military values ​​through his leadership.
