Great Mission Negro Primero relaunches with delivery of supplies to Military University

The Great Mission Negro Primero is experiencing a significant re-impulse with the delivery of supplies and uniforms to the cadets of the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela (UMBV). This action, directly instructed by President Nicolás Maduro, marks a crucial step in the reactivation and strengthening of this strategic program for the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

The Vice President for the Defense and Sovereignty Sector, General Vladimir Padrino López, emphasized that this event is only one part of the integral plan. He highlighted the need to «relaunch it, to strengthen it, to redirect it and study it,» noting that the mission is a core issue for the institution and the equipment of the FANB, with the goal of strengthening each of its operational aspects.

Within the framework of this relaunch, the senior official linked the purpose of the National Government’s Great Missions with popular empowerment. He maintained that these initiatives seek to «bring us closer to the people and empower them more every day,» underscoring the importance of working hand in hand with citizens to achieve national objectives.

The senior official also referred to the Independence 200 exercises, which, in his opinion, demonstrate the strength achieved in the civil-military-police union. This level of integration, in his words, allows “to put the preparation of the people in an optimal point,» especially for the tasks inherent to the integral defense of the nation.

In his remarks, General in Chief Padrino López highlighted the articulated and integrative nature of these efforts, designed to put into practice all defense capabilities. He made special mention of preparation for the latent threat posed by ships deployed in the Caribbean.

Therefore, the delivery of supplies to the Military University consolidates its position as a symbol of the government’s commitment to reinvigorating the Mission Negro Primero. This strengthening seeks not only to equip the FANB but also to deepen the doctrine of integral defense, where the unity between the people and the military is presented as a fundamental pillar for national security.
