President Maduro calls for the Communicational Combat to show the truth about Venezuela

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, called for a communications combat to conquer the world’s truth with messages of peace. During his «Con Maduro+” program, broadcast from the 6th Biennial of the South, he urged all social movements to spread the truth about Venezuela.

«Let’s engage in communications combat to conquer the world’s truth with peace,» stated the president, emphasizing the need to counter international media censorship. He noted that imperialism and colonialism control social media, where they frequently ban videos that depict Venezuelan reality.

From a cultural perspective, the head of state highlighted the role of art as a tool to promote understanding among peoples and strengthen the values of peace. He toured the exhibition of national and international works that make up this event, highlighting its potential to convey counter-hegemonic messages.

In the context of this call, he recalled when Commander Hugo Chávez swore him in as Executive Vice President 13 years ago, reaffirming that this commitment remains valid. He emphasized that his administration has the support of the civic-military-police union that strengthens the defense of national sovereignty.

President Maduro assured that his work agenda continues uninterrupted, despite the weather conditions experienced in recent weeks: «No one stops us, not even the rain or the lightning… rain, thunder, or lightning, we continue with the positive agenda,» he stated.

Among recent activities, he mentioned the dedication of the «Dr. Julio Criollo Rivas» Children’s Hospital and the commemoration of 533 years of Indigenous resistance, which he called «the day of decolonization.» He emphasized that the truth of Venezuela is reflected in «the people in the streets fighting for peace,» demonstrating the strength of the national resistance.
