The Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Security Council. The meeting was attended by authorities from the police forces and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
The central objective of the council was to establish strategies for consolidating peace in the country. During the session was evaluated the development of plans and programs for the prevention and fight against organized crime.
The strengthening of citizen security bodies was also discussed. The review of these actions is aimed at ensuring the protection of the Venezuelan people, within the framework of the Great Mission of Peace Quadrants.
In parallel, the Vice President for Defense and Sovereignty, General in Chief Vladimir Padrino López, addressed the issue through his channel on Telegram. Padrino López emphasized the FANB’s commitment to its constitutional mission.
The officer emphasized that the Armed Forces guarantee national independence and preserve the integrity of the territory. He affirmed that the institution remains on the permanent offensive with coherent strategies in defense of peace.
