President Nicolás Maduro: A multipolar world is taking shape with China, Russia, and India at the forefront

In an exclusive interview held with former Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa for Russia Today (RT), President Nicolás Maduro analyzed the new global order. The Venezuelan leader asserted that a multipolar world is being actively consolidated, ending the era of unipolarity led by the United States.

President Maduro identified the nations driving this global transformation. He singled out the People’s Republic of China, the Russian Federation, and India as the key powers serving as «flagships» of this new system, highlighting their economic, technological, scientific, and cultural strength.

Given this new order, the President contrasted the objectives of these powers with those of the United States. He stated that while the multipolar world seeks peace «with equality, sovereignty, independence, and social justice,» the US agenda is based on «war and the big arms business» to maintain its hegemony.

In this context, Maduro denounced a disinformation campaign by the US government. He accused that their «lying narrative» seeks to justify a military action in South America with the aim of provoking regime change in Venezuela, and then «colonizing» the entire region, including the Caribbean.

The Venezuelan head of state made a direct connection between US foreign policy and the conflict in Gaza. He warned that racial supremacy and oligarchy cannot be allowed to lead to a new colonialism, pointing to Gaza as the «greatest test» of this model they are seeking to impose.

Finally, Maduro reaffirmed Venezuela’s position on this global stage. «Venezuela is at peace and we are part of a multipolar world,» he stressed, strongly condemning Washington’s attempts to maintain its dominance through force in all areas.
