The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, denounced this Saturday that human history has been marked by lies promoted by the United States and its Western allies. These campaigns seek to undermine the sovereignty of independent nations and force changes of government against those who refuse to submit to their hegemonic interests.
In a message on Telegram, the senior official recalled how US interference has led to assassinations, invasions, and global humanitarian crises. Quoting the intellectual Noam Chomsky, Rodríguez stated: «The US is the world champion of terrorism,» referring to the recent attempt to criminalize the work of the legitimate Venezuelan President, Nicolás Maduro Moros.
Against these aggressions, Rodríguez highlighted Venezuela’s unified response. All public branches of the State and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) categorically repudiate threats against the homeland and its head of state, President Nicolás Maduro. This defense constitutes a bulwark against external hostility.
The vice president sent a forceful message to extremist groups: «Those who seek to seize political power in Venezuela will find an organized and empowered people.» The popular resistance, forged through years of anti-imperialist struggle, remains vigilant against any destabilizing attempt.
Rodríguez emphasized that Venezuela has never been isolated in this battle. The progressive international community supports the constitutional government of President Nicolás Maduro in its defense of the right to self-determination. This network of solidarity strengthens the nation’s sovereign position.
The Bolivarian nation will irreversibly maintain its historic course, preserving its independence in the face of foreign machinations. The commitment to peace and social justice, led by President Nicolás Maduro, remains its unwavering compass.
Finally, the vice president reaffirmed that Venezuela will continue to shape its destiny without external supervision, demonstrating that the dignity of its people is not negotiable, nor surrenders to foreign pressure.
