This Tuesday, members of the Economic Cabinet met to analyze strategies to promote the country’s autonomous development, following the results of the municipal elections on July 27. They emphasized that Venezuela is entering a new political era with People’s Power, in which young people will play a leading role.
President Nicolás Maduro ordered to offer technical support for the projects chosen by young people during that historic event. «The Economic Cabinet will constantly monitor 26% of these youth initiatives linked to economic transformation (T1), providing the necessary tools for their implementation,» he explained.
Vice President Delcy Rodríguez highlighted Venezuela’s sustained growth for 17 consecutive quarters on her social media: «Along with the youth, we will advance in the communal economy and strengthen this new political cycle, consolidating People’s Power,» she affirmed in a video.
Additionally, the progress of the Strategic Import Substitution Plan and the performance of the various productive sectors were evaluated, with the aim of boosting domestic industry.
