This Monday, President Nicolás Maduro reiterated the Bolivarian Government’s commitment to the integral care for the populations affected by the heavy rainfalls and the passage of tropical waves.
During the 84th edition of his “Con Maduro+” program, in the Digital Zone section, the national leader highlighted the uninterrupted deployment of security and prevention agencies and the distribution of necessary resources to address the climate emergency impacting several regions.
The president explained that the positive results of the work carried out in the most affected areas of the Andes and western Venezuela, located in Mérida, Táchira, Trujillo, Zulia, Portuguesa, and Barinas states, will soon be seen, thanks to a comprehensive assistance operation to support those affected by the recent tropical waves.
He also emphasized the intensity of the rainfalls that have fallen in Venezuelan territory, stating that «tropical waves continue to arrive one after another.» In this context, he assured that the government will continue to tirelessly strengthen its assistance efforts to guarantee protection and support for affected families throughout the country.
