President Nicolás Maduro announced this Monday that the Minister of the People’s Power for Internal Affairs, Justice, and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, will present details in the coming hours on dismantling of the terrorist plans of the extreme right-wing and the US imperialism, as well as the capture of those involved. The detainees, from various parts of the world, were captured in recent operations:
«In the fight against extreme right-wing terrorism and imperialism, we have made great progress in dismantling and capturing terrorists,» the head of state stated during his 84th “Con Maduro+” program.
The Venezuelan president emphasized that the nation’s defense system is deployed throughout the country, guaranteeing the country’s security. The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), together with the Bolivarian National Militia and popular participation, are working to maintain peace. He also denounced that imperialism is activating terrorist plots from Colombia and other regions, with attempts that have been successfully thwarted in the last ten days:
«We are on high alert with popular-military-police patrol systems that cover the entire national territory,» he stated, while highlighting the professional and scientific capacity of the FANB, which, together with the citizenry, guarantees permanent peace in Venezuela. These actions reinforce the government’s commitment to national security and the protection of the people’s rights.
