In Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state, the Minister for the Attention to Waters, Carlos Pérez Yustiz, received a new contingent of vehicles and machinery donated by the People’s Republic of China. The announcement was made this Thursday during the assessment of the deployment of the multidisciplinary team of the Andes 2025 Task Force, led by President Nicolás Maduro, to assist the areas affected by the heavy rainfalls of recent days.
20 semi-trailer tractors, 20 multifunctional trucks, 20 lifting and transport vehicles, 20 dump trucks and backhoes, 24 sewer dredging vehicles, as well as kits, parts, and spare parts for use in hydrological and multipurpose activities arrived in the country.
The machinery sent directly by the Chinese President Xi Jinping is an initiative that emerges as part of the «China-Venezuela Expo-Fair of Great Achievements,» which will open on July 4, as announced President Maduro, emphasizing that this donation is very timely and powerful for Venezuela.
«We are working with China on the 7T plan, a plan through 2031 for Chinese investment in infrastructure, public works, industry, development, technology, artificial intelligence, military cooperation, social and educational cooperation, and all kinds of cooperation with our sister People’s Republic of China,» detailed the Venezuelan president.
