Head of State presides over the closing ceremony of the 1st International Congress on Scientific Convergences for a Shared Future

From the Simón Bolívar Park Convention Center, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, led the closing ceremony of the 1st International Congress on Scientific Convergences for a Shared Future, a project to promote scientific and technological cooperation between countries of the Global South and their strategic allies.

This plenary session, which included keynote addresses, was attended by 500 students, 500 Venezuelan scientists, and 25 distinguished international scientists; all with the goal of continuing to promote a Venezuela firmly committed to building a sovereign and independent homeland, supported by scientific and technological development.

This conference brought together experts from China, Cuba, Iran, Russia, Serbia, and Vietnam to exchange ideas and knowledge among sister nations through multidisciplinary dialogue in key areas such as electromedicine, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and nanotechnology.

It is worth mentioning that in less than two (2) years, the Venezuelan nation has implemented a large-scale educational project, which has marked a milestone in the country’s academic history.
