Diosdado Cabello: The people of Venezuela wants peace

Minister of the Interior, Justice, and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, stated at the grand march celebrating the victory of May 25 that the people signaled with their vote that they want peace.

He explained that the extremist right wing also failed to grasp the narrative of abstention: «The opposition has not had the humility to recognize that people came out to vote because they want peace, tranquility; to be able to be anywhere, at any time, and that is a value that people consider fundamental. Venezuela currently has very good security indicators,» he asserted.

Regarding the plans envisioned by the fascist right wing, he reiterated that all measures were taken and the people came out to vote in an extraordinary manner, clearly defeating them, and the results were publicly recognized.

He highlighted the election of the Governor of Guayana Esequiba as a historic event, because the people ratified their right and Venezuela’s ownership of that territory.
