The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, closed the International Entrepreneurship Congress, ¡Conecta, Crea y Emprende! (Connect, Create, and Undertake!), a conference that took place from April 23rd to Friday, April 25th, in La Carlota, Miranda state.
The international event takes place in the context of a world framed by new economic trends, global markets, and emerging economies, a dynamic in which Venezuela is embedded as an important leader in the entrepreneurship sector, as are the nations present on this occasion.
Thus, fostering innovation and creativity, in addition to bringing together national and international entrepreneurs and establishing export links, with a view to promoting economic development, are among the guidelines that allow us to understand the meaning and importance of this event.
In this regard, the International Entrepreneurship Congress emerges as a strategic space for nations to meet, with the aim of strengthening the global entrepreneurial ecosystem and strengthening the productive apparatus through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices.
This initiative promotes innovation, the creation of new ventures, and fosters sustainable economic development among countries.
During these three days (from April 23 to 25), were organized roundtables in which participants were able to debate and collaborate on topics relevant to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Also, through presentations and a panel of experts, was given way to the participation of thought leaders and renowned professionals in the field of entrepreneurship.
This meeting was propitious to learn about successful experiences, through entrepreneurs who have achieved positive results and, in this sense, shared their stories and lessons learned throughout their careers.
The Congress also featured the Innovative Entrepreneurship Exhibition, where innovative projects and products were presented.
The exhibition showcased ideas and solutions brimming with creativity and market potential.
Within context, the Venezuelan head of state emphasized this Thursday that this Entrepreneurs Congress is driven by the entrepreneurial spirit that characterizes our country:
«Entrepreneurs from Europe, Latin America, and Asia are here, amazed by the entrepreneurial revolution we have created, thanks to the capabilities of all Venezuelans,» he emphasized.
The first International Entrepreneurs Congress, which opened on April 23, brought together more than 300 participants from 57 countries, as well as more than 100 national representatives.
