During the activation of the Peace Quadrants, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, asserted that the Tren de Aragua (Aragua Train) criminal gang was promoted and coordinated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), from Colombia, to promote terrorist actions in Venezuela.
The national dignitary also pointed out that the Tren de Aragua was defeated here in Venezuela, and that with these actions what the national and international opposition intends is to generate more aggression and sanctions against the Nation.
Along these lines, he emphasized that even if the opposition tries to weaken the country with new sanctions, the people will not be intimidated, and in addition to this, he pointed out: «The extreme right wing will fail again with its plans against Venezuela,» because they will be defeated again, since «Venezuela will continue in peace, harmony, national unity, prosperity, recovery and development.»
This Thursday, February 20 (2025), President Nicolás Maduro proposed to the President of the United States, Donald Trump, to request the reports from the FBI and the DEA to verify the Tren de Aragua, and thus corroborate who financed them and took them to Colombia and the United States, for terrorist purposes in Venezuela.
The National President also stressed that many of the main names of the Tren de Aragua are protected by the DEA and the FBI, and that precisely because of the acts of this antisocial structure, it has been possible, through the system of Peace Quadrants, preventive policies and the permanent initiative for security, to dismember each one of the criminal groups encouraged from the USA and Colombia, by the DEA and the FBI.
