COVID: Venezuela registered 51 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 51 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 6 are community cases, and 45 cases came from the Dominican Republic (24), Spain (4), Panama (11), Colombia (3) and Türkiye. (3), for a total of 546,890 confirmed cases to date.

This was announced this Monday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social networks, @luchaalmada.

The community cases are located in the states: Caracas (3), Miranda (2) and Aragua (1).

On day 981 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,827 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 540,201 and there are 862 current active cases.
