Maduro swore National Anti-coup Command


On Tuesday, At the Presidential Hall of Ramp 4 of the Maiquetía International Airport “Simón Bolívar”, in Vargas state, members of the National Anti-coup Command, who will be headed by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Tarek El Aissami, were sworn in.

The initiative seeks to repel destabilizing actions promoted by the right wing in the political, economic and social areas, according to what was announced this Sunday by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who heads the act of swearing in.

This Command will also be composed of Carmen Meléndez, Vice President of Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace; Vladimir Padrino López, Defense Minister and commander of the CEOFANB, Diosdado Cabello, deputy of the National Assembly and first Vice-President of the PSUV; Néstor Reverol, Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace; Gustavo González López, director of the SEBIN security corps; Cesar Vegas, Commander of the Bolivarian National Militia; Iván Hernández, Commander of the Presidential Honor Guard, and Franklin García, director of the Bolivarian National Police.

After swearing in this team, the National Leader departed to Nicaragua to attend the act of taking possession of his counterpart, Daniel Ortega.
