The executive vice president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, arrived this Wednesday in the city of Beijing, China, to carry out an extensive work day whose main objective is to strengthen bilateral relations between both nations, which reached half a century this 2024.
Rodríguez was received by a delegation from the government of President Xi Jinping and the Venezuelan ambassador to China, A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, who welcomed her with a handshake and a pleasant greeting.
It is planned that during this visit the executive vice president will hold meetings with important authorities of the Asian giant to strengthen the strategic areas: economic, financial, technological and political, among others that have been consolidated in the five stages of binational relations between both nations.
Rodríguez stressed: «We arrived in Beijing, the heart of the People’s Republic of China, with the aim of consolidating the splendorous stage that President Nicolás Maduro and his counterpart Xi Jinping inaugurated in September of last year, elevating the bilateral relationship to a Strategic Partnership at All Times and All Tests.»
He also reported that during this visit «we will review and strengthen our framework for joint cooperation, strengthening the ties of complementarity and mutual development in different areas to continue strengthening a historical relationship and deep friendship that this 2024 reached 50 years.»
China is the main commercial partner of the Bolivarian nation in the Asian continent, which accentuates the strategic importance of this work visit, where they will also review the cooperation map that adds up to more than 600 bilateral agreements, which «are intertwined and based on a shared vision oriented towards the construction of the new multipolar world from the BRICS, where the sovereignty and self-determination of the peoples of the Global South are respected by the hegemons,» as she said.
