“Seeing the technological advances that you know (…) that we are making with our own efforts with our professionals, our scientists and that is placing us, step by step, in an accelerated manner, in a position for aerospace air defense and for the integral defense of all the spaces of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The words correspond to the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in commemoration of the one hundred and fourth anniversary of the Bolivarian Military Aviation (AMB) and the thirty-second anniversary of the anti-imperialist rebellion of November 27, 1992, in reference to the technological advances that have been carried out in the Integral Protection and Defense System of the Nation.
Likewise, President Nicolás Maduro, during his tour of the facilities of the Libertador Air Base, in Palo Negro, Aragua state, signed the winning poster of the contest called by this institution (the AMB), in which the winner was First Lieutenant Mario Cabrera Reinoso, from the technology and information department, who managed to stand out for the creativity in his artistic work.
The Venezuelan President emphasized that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) is a military power that projects itself to growth, with wit, will and its own morality; and that in the different historical moments that are lived – as he estimated – the path to the consolidation of the absolute independence of the Homeland should continue:
«We are a growing military power, which must walk as the liberating armies walked 200 years ago, on the basis of our own effort on the basis of our own will and morality. Let us not expect anything, but from ourselves, it is a principle of José Gervasio Artigas, which we bring to our homeland.»
“And if we continue to apply this principle, be assured that each time, each anniversary of the Bolivarian Military Aviation of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, of Junín, of Ayacucho, each historical period that passes, we will see before our eyes consolidated and the world will witness the independence, absolute freedom of Venezuela and the peace of our country guaranteed by the fusion of the military forces and the police forces, thus it will be,” stressed President Maduro.
The Dignitary pointed out that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, the glorious Bolivarian Military Aviation, with the spirit of the Liberators, deserves the title of “a liberating and Bolivarian military force” for all the effort in safeguarding the airspace, territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
“Brothers, sisters, officers, soldiers, of our glorious military aviation, the spirit of Junín, the spirit of Ayacucho, is in you, if it can be called in this world (…) for a military force to deserve the title of liberating force, I can say that it is the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, the liberating and Bolivarian military aviation, today more than ever. Let us commemorate this anniversary with spirit and with victorious force.”
