The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during the program Con Maduro+ N° 58, in its “More Culture” section, with the Minister of People’s Power for Culture, who leads the Great Mission “Viva Venezuela, Mi Patria Querida” (Viva Venezuela, My Beloved Homeland).
The National Leader reflected that the Great Mission of the New Generation “Viva Venezuela, Mi Patria Querida”, comes to place our culture, with its characteristic traditions, and that our identity commands and reigns, that it occupies the spaces, those that it has to occupy in the entire population, because culture and traditions belong to all of us.
Minister Villegas described the 4th. Festival of the Great Mission “Viva Venezuela, Mi Patria Querida”: “It started in style, with a gigantic, rich and diverse tone, a day in the states Sucre, Nueva Esparta, Anzoátegui and Monagas (…). We have begun to comply with the instructions, we went to the San Carlos barracks, as the new headquarters of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela, Mi Patria Querida; exceptional cultural dynamics will begin to develop.”
The dignitary stressed: “Each artistic expression has a history, our history is that of the diversity of culture, of social and political struggles, of our roots, we are Indians, we are part of Africa and Europe, it is a fusion, it is the sum in the midst of contradictions of colonial models, our indigenous grandparents left the strength and softness of their songs, poetry and worldview; dances came and the dance of the saints.
He also highlighted that a beautiful expression of the people (…) that best expresses their culture is rebellion against those who want to dominate us, there are a thousand ways that are expressed in the way of singing, dancing, lyrics, theater.
He also emphasized: “We are in a tremendous struggle to exist, in a world that wants to impose itself from neo-fascism, capitalism, global domination (…). There is a real cultural battle, against social networks that have little appreciation for the authentic expressions of the people, that want a single thought, a single culture, aesthetics, they want to make us uniform and erase our memory so that we only have the emotions that permeate us through electronic media.”
The greatest vaccine against the viruses of decadent Western culture, of anti-values, that want to normalize and impose the values of war, of those who abuse their power and massacre, of genocide, of murder, of greed, of individualism of the ego, that want to destroy the family as a nucleus.
On the other hand, the Chief of Cabinet for Culture of Sucre state, Omaira Gutiérrez, comments on the diversity of local culture, on the occasion of the fourth festival in the eastern region of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida, in the state.
Music is the most beautiful way to build victories and the most beautiful way to celebrate them is by remembering Sucre and Bolívar. General Simón Bolívar said that every victory had to be danced and celebrated, stressed President Maduro.
