Rodríguez Zapatero will arrive in Caracas in the next few days to continue the process of dialogue


The National President, Nicolás Maduro reported this Sunday that José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, former Spanish President, ratified his commitment to continue with the accompaniment in the process of dialogue between the National Executive and the Venezuelan opposition.

In his program “Domingos Con Maduro” (Sundays with Maduro), the Head of State informed that the European politician expressed his position before Jorge Rodríguez, Mayor of Caracas, and Delcy Rodríguez, Chancellor of the Republic, representatives of the Government in the dialogue.

Both also met on Friday with Monsignor Claudio Maria Celli, a representative of the Vatican, who “ratified his faith and that of Pope Francis at the table of dialogue that must overcome all obstacles and must continue,” said the President when reading a message Sent by Jorge Rodríguez.

In that sense he stressed that in the coming weeks Rodríguez Zapatero will visit Caracas, he said that “all the accompanying international facilitators are still committed to dialogue.”
